On December 1st, at the “Disaster Reduction Industrial Exhibition 2021” held at Tokyo Big Sight, Dr. Hiroshi Asanuma (Professor at Chiba University), Chairman of the Board of Directors, gave a lecture at the OP.
When Dr. Asanuma learned about 311 on the airplane on his way back from NASA in the U.S., he abandoned his previous research and started “Sustainable Disaster Mitigation”.
Now, he is speaking alongside Dr. Hayashi, Director of the National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology.
As the secretariat, we were filled with emotion.
