The Resilience Association of Japan (RIAJ) and the Northern Japan SDGs Smart Agriculture Promotion Forum jointly held the first symposium on the SDGs in a remote location under a new name.
The theme of the symposium was “Aiming for a Resilient Local Society – Research Issues on Disaster Prevention and Mitigation for the Future and the Next Generation”, and it was held in two parts: the first part featured three speakers from universities and companies, and the second part featured a panel discussion with the speakers on the theme of “The Direction of Industry-Academia Collaboration Activities for Building a Resilient Society under SDGs 17”.
